Frequently Asked Questions

What video formats are supported?

MP4 (H.264/H.265), WebM (VP8/VP9), MOV, AVI, and OGG video. For best results, use MP4 files with H.264 encoding.

Do my videos need to be the same resolution?

No. If clips have different resolutions, select a target resolution in the options and all clips will be scaled to match before merging.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. All processing uses FFmpeg WebAssembly running entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.

Will video quality be reduced?

Videos are re-encoded to produce a single seamless output. A high-quality bitrate (CRF 23 for H.264) is used to minimize quality loss.

What if some clips have no audio?

FFmpeg will automatically add a silent audio track to clips without audio before merging, so the final output has consistent audio throughout.

How many clips can I merge?

There is no hard limit. However, total processing time depends on your computer speed and the combined file sizes. Large 4K files may take a few minutes.
